Chapel Hill, NC – Elite Level Sport Marketing (ELSM) and the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) have announced an initial list of nominees for their “Social Media of the Year” award in the Wrestler category.
Following the initial nomination period, there are seven wrestlers that will be included on the ballot for the award. Each of these are individuals (see below) who have utilized social media effectively to market their programs while building their personal brand.

“The nominated wrestlers are a lot of fun to follow on social media,” said ELSM CEO Coyte Cooper. “I follow all of them personally and they do a great job promoting their programs and engaging their followers. Their ability to use social media in a creative manner is what helps build the brand of wrestling.”
The criteria for determining the award winners will feature two key elements: a panel of judges assessing performance (60%) and an online voting competition (40%).
The voting for the Wrestler category will take place from June 3rd-7th on the ELSM website (www.elitelevelsportmarketing.com). Voting will start at 8:00am on Monday and will conclude at 11:59pm on Friday. Fans will be allowed to vote once each day.
The winner of the award will be announced Tuesday, June 18th at 8:00pm EST on the @ELSMarketing Twitter account.
Each winner will receive a custom framed awards poster and will be honored in a feature story that will be housed on the ELSM and NWCA sites. These individuals will also be recognized at the NWCA Convention in August.
